Representation Before the Florida Bar
Our attorneys also have extensive experience representing members of The Florida Bar in various matters, including disciplinary matters brought by the Bar against attorneys before the Supreme Court of Florida. Disciplinary investigations often begin with Bar counsel review based on a complaint received from a former client, a litigant, or others. Dean Mead counsel can assist a member of the Bar to fully respond to disciplinary allegations in the important stage before assignment of the matter for further investigation by the Bar to a Circuit grievance committee. We also have experience in disciplinary proceedings that follow the filing of a formal Complaint by the Bar against a lawyer, at both the Circuit Court referee stage and in the Supreme Court of Florida. Our Bar disciplinary counsel include a former Circuit grievance committee chair and appellate counsel with substantial experience in the Supreme Court of Florida.
